THANKS!! to the compassionate crusaders of Fr. Andrew White S.J. School!! During Catholic Schools Week, students collected 286 pounds (312 cans) of soup and 54 pounds of toiletries to provide to families in our community.
On Saturday, February 18, 64 families received food, including 135 adults and 56 children. Groceries were delivered to 14 residents of New Towne Village and 10 Cedar Lane residents. 40 families shopped in the pantry, and 4 families remained in their vehicles while our wonderful teams fulfilled their checklists. Four families with infants and toddlers received diapers, wipes and baby food.
In March, all families receiving Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program “SNAP” money (food stamps) will return to their SNAP allotment prior to pandemic funding. Your support will help feed families in our community and adjust to this change.
Please save the date for a Food Pantry meeting. Same meeting, two options: Saturday, March 11, 9-10 AM or Monday, March 13 5:30-6:30 PM in the church hall. All are welcome!
