In September of 2019, Hurricane Dorian swept through the islands of the Bahamas causing much devastation to many communities.  One of those communities was Green Turtle Cay, where many buildings were destroyed and many more left without roofs, windows and doors. 

Shortly after the event, a member of our Parish with connections to the island began to ask, "What can we do to help those people in their need?" The easy answer was to send them help, but what was most needed? After speaking with representatives of the community of Green Turtle Cay, it was determined that what was most needed was physical labor to help rebuild.
