WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?
“Wow! And I mean it…Why Catholic? is WOW! My group is getting so much out of the program and giving so much…it’s like an unquenchable thirst!”
“I enjoy learning about our Catholic Faith and Traditions. There is so much to learn and if we don’t learn, we can’t correct and explain the mistakes that other Christians believe about us through years of misinformation and discord. Saint Peter said, “Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope.”
“Before Why Catholic? I shied away from religious questions. Now, by learning more about the richness and traditions of my Catholic faith, I share my faith more confidently.”
“I am so thankful that St Aloysius Parish decided to participate in the Why Catholic? Program. It is food for the soul! To have such programs offered during Lent is such a blessing to all who choose to participate. I am eager to discover what the Holy Spirit will reveal to me during the remaining sessions.”
“Much needed in our parish to bring people back to church and a good sharing experience for the parish community.”
A LETTER FROM THE PASTOR
Do you long for a deeper appreciation of the beliefs, richness, and joy of our Catholic faith? To really understand the power of God’s Word in our lives? To find ways to link our faith with our everyday life? I know I do, and so do many others.
Why Catholic? is a unique opportunity for our parish community to strengthen our Catholic identity and make our faith not only more meaningful, but truly alive! I am therefore, extremely pleased that we will be participating in Why Catholic?
Why Catholic? promises to be a very powerful means of growth for each of us individually, as well as for the parish as a community. I support this process wholeheartedly and look forward to participating in the small Christian communities. I hope you will join me on this spiritual journey in the footsteps of Christ.
