Confirmation

In the Archdiocese of Washington young people are invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation during 8th grade. Here at St. Aloysius young people and their families desiring the sacrament are asked to register for classes through the regular Religious Education program or through our parish school, Father Andrew White. Candidates for the sacrament are expected to participate in both the 7th and 8th grade religious formation programs. For older youth and adults who seek Confirmation, special arrangements are made according to individual needs. Please contact the Religious Education Office if you are an older youth or adult wishing to prepare to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation.
