Children’s Religious Education (Pre-K to Grade 8)

As with Catholic catechesis in general, the fundamental aim of our Religious Education Program is to put each child “not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ: only He can lead us to the love of the Father in the Spirit and make us share in the life of the Holy Trinity” (Catechesi Tradendae, 5). We strive to help each child know the Catholic Faith, to celebrate it in the sacraments, to grow in Holiness, and to grow in prayer.

Our Religious Education program serves students from Pre-K – Grade 8. Pre-K and Kindergarten use the Coming to God text series, while grades 1 – 8 use the Blest Are We series.

Religious Education classes for Grades Pre-K to 4 and RCIC are held Sundays from 9:15 – 10:30 a.m. at Father Andrew White School, and classes for Grades 5 to 8 are held Sundays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Father Andrew White School.
