Special Needs Ministry

Our purpose is to accompany persons with disabilities and their families on their faith journey with the goal of full participation in parish life. Our ministry offers Adult Faith Formation, Adaptive Sacrament Preparation, and full inclusion in our Children’s Religious Program. Many of our students enjoy full participation in the Liturgy and are members the choir. Some routinely serve as lectors, cantors, greeters, altar servers, and gift bearers.

St Aloysius offers ASL Signed Masses for our Deaf community on the Third Sunday of each month at the 11:00 Mass. Please contact Liz Tomaszeski by email or text if you would like to receive regular reminders.

Low gluten hosts are available at any Mass. Please see the priest or deacon before Mass.

The Special Needs Ministry provides outreach to our community by hosting Masses and social events designed to welcome people with disabilities.
