Novena for Life

November 28th, 2010  |  Published in News, News Archive

A Novena for Life begins this Tuesday, November 30th ending on December 8th.

The Novena is intended to be prayed by individuals, couples and families, either at home or in a church/chapel setting beginning this Tuesday, November 30th in anticipation of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary on December 8th.

As the living body of Christ today “We proclaim that human life is a precious gift from God; that each person who receives this gift has responsibilities toward God, self and others; and that society, through its laws and social institutions, must protect and nurture human life at every stage of its existence” (U.S. Catholic Bishops, November 2001).

To conclude our novena the parish will be holding a special Holy Hour for Life before the Blessed Sacrament immediately following the 6:00 pm Mass on December 8th. The Holy Hour will conclude at 8:00 pm.

Please plan on joining us as we pray for a greater respect of all human life in our country from the womb until natural death and for the end to abortion.
