Old Cemetery Cleanup

On Saturday, May 1, 2010 members of St. Aloysius parish came together to clean up the old St. Aloysius Cemetery. Leaves were raked, grass was mowed, weeds were trimmed and mulch was applied to the anniversary marker.

The old St. Aloysius Cemetery dates to the 1760s and is the site of the first St. Aloysius Church. It is located approximately two miles north of the site of the current church on Cemetery Road.

The Beacon is the quarterly publication for the Community of Historic Leonardtown.
