The 2010 Holy Week schedule is as follows:

Holy Thursday, April 1st
– 8:30 am Morning Prayer
– 7:30 pm Mass of Lord’s Supper
– 8:45 pm – Midnight Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (FAW Gym)
- 11:50pm Night Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament (FAW Gym)

Good Friday, April 2nd
– 8:30 am Morning Prayer
– 1:30 pm Confessions
- 3:00 pm Stations of the Cross
- 7:30 pm Passion of the Lord

Holy Saturday, April 3rd
* Confessions will not be heard on Holy Saturday
– 7:30 am Morning Prayer
– 8:00 pm The Easter Vigil

Easter Sunday, April 4th
– 8:00 am Mass
– 11:00 am Mass

Roman Missal (revised Order of the Mass)

Below is a link to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops site about the Revised Roman Missal for English speaking countries. After final approval from Rome there will be a 12 month catechetical period before implementation. As this process progresses the link below is a great resource to learn about changes coming to the Roman Missal.

2nd Annual FAW 5K – Saturday, March 20th

Come out and support Father Andrew White School by participating in the 2nd Annual FAW 5K and 1K Fun Run/Walk being held on Saturday, March 20th at St. Mary’s Ryken High School rain or shine. Race day registration begins at 7:30am and the race starts at 8:30am.

St. Aloysius Celebrates Scout Sunday

On Sunday, February 28, members of local Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops gathered at the 8am Mass to celebrate Scout Sunday. 2010 marks the 100th anniversary of scouting in the United States.

2010 Parish Mission

From Sunday, February 21, 2010 through Wednesday, February 24, 2010 the community of St. Aloysius came together for our Annual Parish Mission led by Fr. Jude Winkler. The theme for the mission was “The Eucharist: Center of our Parish, Center of our Lives”.

There were morning and evening sessions and a closing Mass on Wednesday night followed by a reception.
