Archdiocese of Washington Suspends Sunday Mass Obligation for December 20th, the 4th Sunday of Advent
Due to the inclement weather, we wish to remind parishioners and all the faithful that dangerous travel/road conditions are legitimate excuses from fulfilling the Sunday obligation to attend Mass. Those who cannot safely attend Mass in person are encouraged to watch the Sunday TV Mass, which airs at 10:30 a.m. on CW50.

The Advent Penance Service on Sunday, December 20th at 7:00 pm has been canceled.
There will be confessions on Tuesday, December 22nd at 7:00pm.

Preparing for Christmas isn’t just about decorating our homes, sending cards or buying presents. Preparing for Christmas is preparing our hearts, our lives, for the King of Peace, Jesus, the Savior of the World.
Along with our regular schedule of confessions, everyone is invited to celebrate the joy of God’s forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation/Penance on Sunday, December 20th at 7:00 pm. Priests from the St. Mary’s County Deanery will be available to assist with the celebration of the Lord’s gift of peace with you.
